Really, a pre-order? If you love what you hear and you just can't live without a physical package, well, then, you're a lot like me. Let me know at jones.cam99@gmail.com. In the meantime, come hear the real thing. If there' s enough interest, I'll short run a CD - or hell, maybe vinyl.

about

On October 15, 2011 we gathered in the rain at the Straka Farm in Lochaber, QC for the release of Streetcar Curtsy 0001.

The concert that followed was the culmination of 20 years of writing packed in to 3 1-hour sets with intermissions for food and conversation.

The Straka Farm is both a home away from home, and a musical home; my first recordings came about during a weekend long session, my first contemporary live show reverberated through the summer time haze of Chris and Carmen's wedding, and, most recently, this show, welcomed my return to music.

If you listen closely, the rain falling on the corrugated metal roof creates an ambient rhythm. This night, just listening to it, makes me swoon.

about

One VOICE, one GUITAR.

Cam Jones is a singer-songwriter, solo-acoustic-electric- ... more rhytmic-folk-rock evolution based in Ottawa, Canada.

At the heart of Cam's songs is an agenda with words. The poetry of Cam's lyrics is an intentional attempt to diffuse basic structure by bringing the song in every poem to the instrument that rounds them.

"This machine kills fascists." - or, at least, debates them less
